Shelly Smith began working as an accountant in 1986 and has been with Inverness Properties since 1995. As Controller, she is responsible for cash management, budgeting, preparing financial reporting packages for the Management, Brokerage and Maintenance divisions of the Company. In addition, Ms. Smith supervises the accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll and human resource functions of Inverness Properties as well as overseeing general office administration. She is proficient in several accounting software packages and has implemented several complex software conversions.

Ms. Smith holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Accounting from Mesa College in Grand Junction, Colorado.
