Peter C. Coakley

Peter Coakley joined the firm as Principal in February, 2006. Peter will focus on brokerage and the company’s material leasing and sales activities with both Inverness-based projects, as well as those proximate to, but outside of the Inverness Business Park.

Peter, with over 24 years of experience in commercial real estate, started his career at Inverness Properties in 1981. He was most recently responsible for office, medical office and build-to-suit development for McWhinney Enterprises in Loveland, Colorado. He was the former District Manager of the Grubb & Ellis office in Denver and was Vice President of the Office Services Group at Transwestern Commercial Services, helping to build the Denver operation from 1999 through 2003. His clients have included Transwestern Investment Company, Prudential Real Estate Investors, Koll Bren Schreiber, National Cattlemen’s Beef Association and The Bromley Companies.

Peter holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Boston College – School of Management. He has been a Licensed Colorado Real Estate Broker since 1981 and is a past President of the Colorado Chapter of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (“NAIOP”). Peter remains an active member of NAIOP as a member of the Past Presidents Council. Peter currently serves on the Board of Directors for Special Olympics Colorado.

He and his wife, Pam, have been Colorado residents since 1973 and have two children, Kate and Chris.
